Vista is too complicated, Macs are simply too expensive and, sadly, during the years, they'd become more of a status symbol than something people need. I am a designer and I was fantasizing about one, but when I realised how much it'd cost me...I'd rather mess with my slow programs on WinXP, seriously. And ouch...if that guy isn't angry with you, then he has nerves. I'm guilty of something similar, but people did get angry with me afterwards. You're lucky! I’d stay away both from Vista and Macs. Don't worry, you'll get used to it. And I have to disagree with the previous comments--macs are built for performance and I absolutely love mine :love: . It's simple to use, efficient, and I know I haven't had any problems with performance. Sure, the MacBook Pro's cost a bit more than a Dell, but you're getting a much better computer for your money in my opinion. Plus I've never had problems getting programs.
