Easter holidays?

Thanks for all the comments on my last post. My day didn’t get much better as I ended up messing up my computer but thankfully it’s all been sorted now. :smile:

I’ve had another hectic week, this time from all my University work. It’s so annoying as it’s meant to be the Easter holidays as yet my holidays are filled with assignments! :irritated:

Oh speaking of which, I am off to Geneva (Switzerland) for the Easter weekend. I can’t wait, I’ve been before but it’s such a beautiful place. Although I’ve just seen on the weather forecast there is a chance of snow and rain is a definite. Trust us to pick a place that’s ever colder than England. So yeah I won’t be on-line from Friday to Monday.

I managed to get my portfolio site up. At the moment it’s quite bare but I plan to add some more website examples. If you notice anything odd, let me know. Speaking of which it’s time for me to think about my final year project. I can choose three options (and I hope I get one of those three). I am choosing one in Multimedia (although I guess I will do it in director unless I really knuckle down and learn Flash, which I might just do). Another is SQL, I really wanted to do my project in SQL but this latest assignment has been so hard and I’ve been struggling and relying of my friends (it’s group work) to explain everything to me, so I am a bit undecided about this. I think I will speak to the lecturer who took us for the first and half of the second semester again. I was doing fine with her but this new lecturer I can’t stand him. He has such slow paced lectures, I mean 1hr and 40mins and he covers like three slides! He puts me too sleep and I can’t be bothered staying for the tutorials with him. The third I plan to see about an industry based project, I am meeting the person when we go back to University. They did mention something about web design so I am hoping I can try out for this as well. :cute:

    Good luck working on your school work! I wish I could do college, but right now my brain is in such a disarray from post-traumatic stress that I can’t focus on much, but I’d love to go someday even if I end up like you with professors that put me to sleep. :) The portfolio looks nice so far, good luck with that as well. :)

    I also know a few teachers who can bore me to sleep :sick: They are the teachers that I seldom talk to. HAHAHA :wink: Anyway, I hope you’ll get the option you chose and I think that school holidays are only meant for teachers/lecturers :roll:

    I hope Geneva will be awesome! I don’t know anything about Geneva myself but I’m sure it’s a nice city. Switzerland seems exotic with the mountains and all.
