Sorry for the lack of updates and comments, just busy with offline stuff and ‘cos I will be going out on the weekend and stuff (Party time!! ) But anyway, I will deffo reply to comments and emails after Sunday and post a new post up ASAP!

On Tuesday, I received an email informing me that Netrillium Hosting (the place where hyuuga.nu is registered) has been sold and is now a new company. Normally this would be fine, except it is now $45.95/yr (about £30) to renew a .NU domain. This is way too expensive for me. So it’s with a sad decision that I have decided that I am not going to be renewing hyuuga.nu (hostees, I will be emailing you all when I have more info) but instead I will buy a new domain for my fanlisting collective.

This has two problems. One, hyuuga.nu is my main domain on my reseller account and so I will have the change that to either one of my existing domains or the new domain – this will result in all my subdomains and databases going down so I will have to recreate them, which is annoying. Two, I have to think of a new domain name.

So … help me with a new domain name? I was thinking of getting a .me domain but I will be as happy with a .org/com/net.

On one hand, I am excited to get a new domain name but then again I am sad to let hyuuga.nu go. I love this domain name but eh, I can’t shell out that much money each year on a domain name. It would be different if I only had one domain but I don’t and I have to pay my hosting account as well.

Oh well, things sadly have to come to an end. Plus, even though hyuuga.nu doesn’t run out until November, now that I have (mentally) made a decision to get a new domain name, I really want it now! I just have no idea what to get! So please, any help would be good.

(Oh a note, hostees don’t worry hyuuga doesn’t run out until November and I will be emailing each of you when I have some more idea of what I am going to do, you never know, I might end up keeping hyuuga.nu!)
